So after we were waiting all winter long for the snowday to get us out of school of course during spring break it finally snows! I got my pictures at least^^

Promdress shopping :)

Although it's just mid-March, the probably biggest thing we talk about, next to Honey BooBoo and Buckwild, is PROM! The 2 months countdown started a couple days ago and everyone is looking around and hunting for the best dress, best shoes and of course the best date! Americanized as I am now, I totally jumped in there and so after the movies (Silver Lining Playbook, great movie btw it s really emotional aww) and a sleepover, on Saturday I went promdress shopping with Brooke. :) We started the day with Panera on mainstreet, basically the best sandwiches ever! Then we started looking for the dress! It was a lot of fun and we tried on many many dresses until we finally found the perfect ones :)

Roadtrip to Virginia

The last few days we spent on a roadtrip down into the southern state Virginia. On the first day we visited James Madison University in Charlottesville and went to a little restaurant for dinner. The next day we spent first at Thomas Jefferson's, 3rd president of the United States, original house and afterwards we met Emma's cousin who goes to University of Virginia for dinner, after we toured UVA.   Today, we drove down to Richmond, the former capital of the CSA and took a short tour to University of Richmond. All 3 universities had a beautiful campus and seemed great!

Thomas Jefferson designed, built and lived in this house after he retired from work. After his wife died, he lives there with his only surviving daughter Martha and her 11 children and husband. He was a farmer, and held many slaves on his estate.

Basketball Championship Weekend

This week and weekend were the quarter-, semi-, and finals of the boys and girls basketball state championships! Both of our school teams (boys and girls) made into the tournament! So basically every other day we went out to the stadium to support! The games were intense but great! Our student section reminded of the "Muttenzerkurve" at a FCB game.
We won the semifinals on Thursday night and got into the finals yesterday! It was such an intense game and we unfortunately lost but whatever! 3-peat last year and GO SANFORD!
Well we spent the evening on main street with fro yo and Friendly's! 
Yay! I love America!

Just another Weekend

Hey Guys! :)

So, it s been a while I think, or maybe not i don t remember^^ But anyways, I m having a good time! Last weekend my dad visited me and it was great I had a lot of fun! We went to Emma s amazing concert and to a Italian restaurant - delicious! This weekend, MacKenzie picked me up to go to the play at Unionville, they presented "Guys and Dolls" and my friend Claudio, from Italy was in it! It was a fun night, I slept over a t MacKenzies house and we had fun! The next day we got up at 5 and drove to our school, from there we took the bus to Delaware University in Dover where the annual Science Olympiad took place. We basically hung out in a college lobby with 500 other students and solved a bunch of science problems! however, i met my other afs friend francisco from portugal there! :D he also insisted on mentioning what brilliant and gorgous guy he is! jk, but he won 2 medals for friends school! :) 

but on the way back the bus broke, the tire was flat and couldn t be repared! so we got off and stood on the side of the highways until another bus picked us up! it was hilarious!

today i went to a flower show in philly! it was great! i had a good time! well on the way back we discovered a german food store with REAL SWISS/GERMAN PRODUCTS! :D
