When you read the names engraved in the bench while facing the sky, the person was on the plane.
When you re facing the Pentagon, the person died in the Pentagon.
Wonderful Idea.

The 9/11 Memorial was very impressive and emotional. It is wonderful created and shall remind the people of this tragedy. It is a very powerful Memorial.

Thanksgiving

On our Englishexam a few day before we had to write down one thing we are thankful for. I was looking at the paper and started smiling. "I am thankful for being here" I wrote. And that is what I am! I am thankful for spending this wonderful year in northern Delaware and Pennsylvania and all the great places we visited like at the moment Washington DC! I m thankful for my hostfamily, the Hebertons, truely wonderful people! I am thankful that my parents gave me the opportunity to spend a year like this! It is an incredible and indescribable and wonderful experience. I m thankful for having true friends on both sides of the ocean. I m thankful for all the people I met and all the people who took the time and talked to me over my crapy english in the beginning and I am really thankful for the people who took and take care of me!
I love you so much! Thank you for being a part of my year! You mean a lot to me!❤
Today I had a very delicious traditional turkey and at least 5 different pies and cakes! It was a very nice family party and I met a lot of welcoming abd warming people with a wonderful attitude towards life. Whatever happens, they still find a reason to smile. Because there is always something what it s worth to smile for.

Ready for Thanksgivingbreak

Now it s already over three months that I am here and I have to say it is simply amazing!
The past few days we have had our trimester final exams, two hour long tests in all our classes! Yesterday we finally had the last exam from 8-10 am! So afterwards my hostmum drove my friend and me to the christianamall where we spent our whole day! It was so much fun! I had a great time with Brooke!:D ❤ The mall is really really big although it s considered a small one haha! We literally spent hours over hours in Forever21 and other stores, it was a great time! I also saw my first Santa at the mall, sitting in a chair in a little 'snow garden' for the little kids to make their wishes!:D
In the evening we went to a poetryclub meet at Panera bread, a really good eating place!^^ I had a lot of fun there too the people are amazing!
While I was at the mall Emma baked some pie and cookies, because now, after exams it s finally break for the most American holiday: Thanksgiving!:)
Our plan is to leave for Washington DC today where we re gonna look at different colleges and the city! I m really excited to see it and I m looking forward to it a lot! That s why I have to get up now and get ready haha
See you later my dears!
❤
