Shakespeare's Twelfth Night

"whether the weather be hot or whether the weather be cold whatever the weather will whether the weather whether we like it or not"

That was one of our vocal warm-ups for the play, Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.
This weekend was the weekend of the great performance. Although we lost two days of rehearsals because of the hurricane last week, we worked hard and had a great performance.

The plot is pretty easy to explain. Basically there is this girl who dresses up as a guy and calls herself Cesario to serve at the Duke's house after she was stranded on an island. She lost her brother and searches for work, what she found at the Duke's house. After a while she falls in love with the Duke. But the Duke is madly in love with Olivia, a noble countess. Olivia on the other hand falls in love with Cesario. It is a very amusing play and a great story with a surprise in the end.

I had a very small role, I was in the ensemble and played an officer and a servant, but the experience being part of it was the best experience I had.
The play was more than just a play. The people in the play became my really good friends. They are like a family, but like self-evident they took me into their community and I was a part  of them. I know this is not self-evident at all. I'm so thankful for these people and I'm so glad I met them and became friends with them. I already miss rehearsals although it's just the first day off!

I just wanted to thank you everyone!
It was great!
