Christmas in America is very special. The day after Thanksgiving, the Christmas sale began, everything is on sale and the malls are really crowded and full, but it is a lot of fun to buy and there is a lot to see:
In the mall they have little 'stations' where they decorate everything and there is Santa, the children go to him and say there christmas wishes that he hopefully make them true! :)
Last week there was an AFS christmas party, it was a lot of fun! At first I went to a friend s house, she s from Belgium and lives very close to me here, her host sisters are 5-year-old twins. I played with them for an hour, they are adorable! Afterwards we left for the party. It was so much fun, everyone brought something special from his or her own country, so we had a big variety from belgian salad to japanese sushi... It was delicious! afterwards we had a great time with everyone, i love the afs-people! it sounds funny, but afs people are seriously just like best friends! Although I just know them since this summer it feels like I know them forever! it was an amazing weekend, i had a lot of fun! :)
The next day we went to a farm with a swiss owner! so i got to speak some swiss german! :)
