The 2nd of January we drove out to the Golden Gate Bridge. The bridge is huge and really impressive! It is the bridge with the highest pillars in the world and they use 1400 gallons of the reddish color, called international orange every two months. The US Navy had wanted it to be painted with black and yellow stripes to ensure visibility by passing ships.
The walk took us like 40 minutes and gave an amazing view over the skyline of the city and the bridge itself.

it was fun, the bridge is very impressive and thousands of tourists pass it everyday!
